This process usually includes: taking the treadmill apart, examining all the parts and replacing those which are broken, worn out or old. It should be also sand blasted and repainted. Such machines need to look like new or close to it.

1. Find out about the age of the treadmill.
2. Who is refurbishing or remanufacturing the machine.
3. Ask for the warranty.
Good quality refurbished treadmills should have a great warranty. The longer the warranty on this treadmill the more confidence you have in the machine.
